Fees and Payment
Payment is due at the time that services are provided. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards.
Reduced fees for services are available for those who qualify based on income.
Insurances
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- Which therapists are covered under my plan?
- Does my mental health coverage include reimbursement for out-of-network providers?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What type of therapy (individual, couple’s, family, group) does my plan cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Self-Pay
Opting to not bill your insurance plan has certain benefits, such as the ones listed below:
- Increased privacy in that documentation is not provided to a third party listing a diagnosis or information related to the treatment plan.
- Flexibility in determining duration of session and length of treatment.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance, so the appointment can be offered to another person in need. Appointments that are not cancelled will be added to the balance on your next session. Please discuss with us any situations that you foresee that may contribute to last minute cancellations.
